Age: 2-3 years approx

Size: Medium (35 lbs)

Notes: Chauncey looks large in his photos but he is only 35 pounds and 2-3 years old. He is extremely timid and has not gotten adopted because he does not do well meeting new people. Once he trusts you though his love is endless. He is looking for a home that is very calm in the beginning with someone willing to be patient while he adjusts.

Chauncey loves to run in the play yard and he loves soft treats. Loud noises and sudden movements frighten him. He would do best in a home that has older children rather than small children because of that. He takes a moment to warm up and begin to trust but once he does, he loves being in your lap and giving kisses. He does great with house training with routine. He is dog selective but there are some at the shelter that he loves to play with.

Chauncey, Mixed Breed, 2-3 years, neutered Male, Medium.

Most of our dogs are strays, therefore we can only guess whether they are good with other animals or children by observing the behavior of the animal in the kennel and their interaction with the shelter staff.
